Creating a new phone

  1. Go to Nebry UC, and from the left-hand side of the portal, click on "Phones".
  2. Once on the "Phones" screen, click on "Add Phone".
  3. In the "Add Phone" modal, enter the details:
    1. Name: A name for the phone (i.e., Jeff's Phone, Conference Phone, etc.).
    2. Phone Model: From the dropdown menu, select the phone model, if the phone model is not there, select 'Other'.
    3. Category: Select the category of the phone that you are adding.
    4. Device MAC Address (Optional): Enter the device MAC address.
    5. Extension (Optional): From the drop-down menu, select the extension that you want to associate with the phone on the first device line.
    6. Location: Select the physical location of the phone; this will determine the registration servers that you will use for that phone.

Change or add a new device line to phone

Once you create a phone, you can decide which extension(s) you want to associate with that phone using device lines.

Adding a new device line to a phone.

  1. Go to Nebry UC, and from the left-hand side of the portal, click on "Phones".
  2. Once on the "Phones" screen, click on the name of the phone.
  3. Under "Extensions Assigned", click on "Add a device line".
  4. From the drop-down menu, select the extension that you want to associate with that device line.
  5. Check the SIP details in order to register the device line on your device.

Info: You can have up to 8 device lines per phone.

Change the extension assigned to the device line.

  1. Go to Nebry UC, and from the left-hand side of the portal, click on "Phones".
